CBD – What is it?
There is so much talk on this stuff right now with Canada legalizing cannabis October 17th and with some US states, you can purchase it over the counter with some restrictions. Do we really know what it is yet?

Do I get high from CBD?
The answer is no! Your body does get relaxed. In many studies, CBD can actually counteract the THC which is the psychoactivity which is the stuff that gets you stoned and high. There is a lot of information on this stuff online but it’s important to get your own source on what you can make of the tons of clinical studies out there from online to university research.

Ways to take CBD
Sublingual- This is Latin for taking under the tongue
This is by far my favourite way of taken CBD under the tongue and holding it for 30 seconds this will go through the mucous membranes to the bloodstream which will get you to feel the effects as quickly as smoking a joint.
Count and hold your seconds a pause, this makes me feel the oil flavours in case you buy some of the different flavours. I would encourage you to take it this way as the easiest way but again it’s up to you.
Ingestion- Taken orally and digested
Usually, this could be in vegetarian capsules. I have bought many vegetarian capsules although by the time the capsule dissolves in the body it may be 30-40 mins for you to notice or feel the effect.
This is good if you need to sleep however, this may not be the best choice if you feel like your becoming anxious. It can also be made with food or beverages. Tea’s are more appealing to me with also a banana loaf.
Check out buddhateas for more options on drinking it on the go or at home.
DIET & THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM
The endocannabinoid system regulates numerous physiological processes, including intestinal function, glucose metabolism, and stress response.
Topical Application- Applied on the body
Perhaps there are not enough products out there as its relatively new in the market but soon it will be in the stores.
Now that legalization is in effect in Canada there will be mass production which will create new products every day. I have not tried this myself but this site below has some interesting products for stocking Christmas stuffers.
De La Beuh CBD Coffee Scrub ($10)
Many people say that you should scrub your body with leftover coffee grounds because the caffeine helps get rid of cellulite. (It is actually well documented in medical literature.) But if you feel weird about dipping into the coffee machine at the office, try this CBD-infused coffee scrub, made with coconut oil and shea butter for extra moisturizing benefits, instead. I like using it when I need a little bit of medication with my exfoliation (which the coffee grounds are
