Self-help is a growing trend in our regular 40 hour work week. Don’t take my word for it google it yourself, there are over 34,000 000 results when you google self-help apps. There is a ton of resources able to help you independently now at a time which is convenient for you. Why make a trip to a psychologist when you have amazing apps then can help elevate you from a shitty, overworked, overwhelmed day Allow yourself to enjoy the moment of being you.
Muse App – The Brain-Sensing Headband
So you may have seen my product review on this in a recent post. You know at first I did not think that it was necessary to track your meditation, in fact, I didn’t think it was possible. The one thing you have to understand with meditation, you must understand that all we are talking about is energy. After purchasing Muse Headband, it is linked up to a downloadable app to your smartphone or iPhone. Once downloaded you are directly guided to find yourself a place to sit down and relax.
I promise you this is not a product review on the muse, i have that in another post, but to understand what Im talking about you must have the electronic headband device. I got mine on black Friday so I got a little discount however because I couldn’t really relate to the reviews, I decided to purchase it for myself. I was very satisfied with my purchase so I encourage you to purchase it for yourself to see the benefits.
Once you have downloaded the app, follow the instructions in the booklet that it give you with your muse package. It’s an easy 4 step process. You get your device, turn it on, Bluetooth link your device to your phone and put in some earbuds and allow those thoughts to go away. The difference with the muse in comparison to other apps is that muse senses the brainwaves and transmits these signal into a simulated weather pattern.I For example If your mind is too active you will hear clouds rumbling and wind, if your mind is calm you will hear a nice creek flow of water with perhaps some birds. A friend of mine recommend this app to me for the videos, and guided meditation this is a free app which engages multiple users and in real time, this is more like a network of people who are meditating around the world and sharing ideas and insights with each other. Really there are hundreds of apps and electronic programs to help your mind zone into an altered state of awareness to keep you relaxed and stress-free. Remember that meditation for most people is a great way to reset the mind, no matter what you have going on, financial, health, and well being. These apps can teach you not only to be at peace with yourself but reset a bad day at work.
